Evita Souri is the Director of the Commercial Department at the British Embassy in Athens, where she leads strategic initiatives to strengthen business ties between the United Kingdom and Greece.
Her work spans multiple sectors, including shipping, clean energy, technology and infrastructure, with a strong focus on identifying and promoting opportunities for bilateral collaboration.
Prior to her current role, she served as an Economic Adviser within the UK Government Economic Service, where she contributed to economic analysis supporting free trade negotiations and played a pivotal role in shaping the UK’s state pension age policy at the Department for Work and Pensions.
Evita is an economist by training and holds an MSc in European Political Economy from the London School of Economics.
