Vasileios Kehagias was born on 29-7-1971, married with one child, resident of Oreokastro, Thessaloniki, he holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with postgraduate studies PhD in Materials Science.
He is CEO and shareholder in the metallurgical company SuperAlloys Engineering with 2 privately owned industrial facilities, in the Industrial Area of Thessaloniki. Sindos and Kalochori, Thessaloniki.
Its long presence in the Manufacturing Industry with the object of machining production of special machinery & industrial spare parts and the urgent execution of projects to improve production performance and mechanical maintenance, with the integration of advanced materials & high-tech forming methods, for the key industrial sectors of Shipping, Cement & Building Materials Production, Mining, Energy Production, Petroleum Products and Defense Applications.
Due to the particular specialization and know-how that has been developed, its extrovert activity in the markets of the wider region of the Balkans, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia is also strong, resulting in exports with services and products of the company prevailing in percentage of its total turnover. It has been awarded for 4 consecutive years by as the most innovative Greek export company.
He is also a specialized consultant with classified confidentiality, on issues of organization of industrial maintenance and application of advanced materials in industrial groups producing building materials abroad in Germany, Israel, the Netherlands and America. He participates & directs R&T programs with collaborative research groups of the Universities.
He is being active in public affairs as an elected member since 2012 in the Board of Directors of Greek Exports Association (SEVE), since 2019 in the Board of Directors of the SME’s Chamber of Thessaloniki, since 2021 as the General Secretary in the Board of Directors of Sindos Industrial Zone., while during the period 2013-2016 he also served on the Board of Directors of the Alexander Innovation Zone.
