Professor Ketikidis brings over 35 years of experience in management, education, innovation, research, and competitive research funding, having built strong international networks through his extensive career. He is recognized as an integrationist interdisciplinarian with expertise spanning technology ventures, supply chain management, entrepreneurship, business angel investing, health informatics, and the strategic management of technology and innovation. He has served as President and Board Member of several profit and non-profit organizations, actively supporting and mobilizing the “knowledge triangle” — research, business, and education — to foster innovation.
Professor Ketikidis is a member of the National Council for Research, Technology and Innovation (NCRTI – ESETEK, Greece) and serves on the Board of the National Centre for Research and Technology Development (CERTH – EKETA). He is the President and Co-founder of the Hellenic Business Angels Network (HeBAN, 2015–present) and an Executive Committee Board Member of EBAN (Brussels) — the European Trade Association for Business Angels, Seed Funds, and Early-Stage Market Players (2018–present). Additionally, he is an Emeritus Board Member of the Exporters Association of Greece (2015–present), a member of the Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce (2015–present), President and Founder of the Triple Helix Association Chapter of Greece (2013–present), and an Expert Evaluator for the European Innovation Council (EIC).
He is the Chief Editor of the International Journal of Innovation & Regional Development (IJIRD) and the Founder of the International Conference for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Regional Development (ICEIRD). His academic contributions include an extensive publication record covering journal articles, books, edited volumes, special issues, book chapters, conference proceedings, technical papers, and reports. His research interests focus on innovation, entrepreneurship, regional development, supply chain management, and health informatics. In addition to leading IJIRD, he also serves on the editorial boards of several other international academic journals.
