Dimitris Mandalozis

Chief Operations Officer, Aegean Motorway S.A.

A graduate of the Democritus University of Thrace with a degree in Civil Engineering, he worked for several years as a civil engineer for large technical companies in traffic/transportation management. He also served at the Municipality of Amarousion, first on the design and operation team, then as General Director of the Transport System.

From 2003 to August 2016, worked for Attikes Diadromes (the Operation Company of Attiki Odos, the Ring Road of Athens), organizing all administrative functions. Later, he moved to the Strategic and Organizational Manager position.

Since 2016, he has held the position of Chief Operations Officer (COO) in Aegean Motorway SA, a 230km Tollway in Central Greece, where he heads all tolling, maintenance, and operation activities of the company.

He is also a member of the Board of Hellastron (Hellenic Association of Toll Road Network).

After serving for several years as an IRF Board Member, Mr. Mandalozis was officially appointed IRF President in June 2025, following his tenure as Acting IRF President since October 2024.

He is an IEMA-certified climate change leader (Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment) and a member of several international working groups in IBTTA (International Bridge Tunnel & Turnpike Association), European Commission – Mobility & Transport – Cooperative, and Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM).
