Giannis Samoladas was born in Piraeus in 1973.

He was married to Maria and is the proud father of twin sons, Konstantinos and Pantelis.

A graduate of Zanneio Experimental School of Piraeus and the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education (SELETE), Department of Mechanical Engineering, he holds an MBA from the Hellenic Institute of Insurance Studies in collaboration with the Athens University of Economics and Business. He also holds the title of Business Insurance Architect from the IFA.

With over 25 years of experience in truck and transport insurance, he is the Founder and CEO of Truck & Cargo Insurance, which today stands as the leading insurance broker in Greece specializing in commercial trucks and cargo.

He is an Insurance and Risk Management Consultant who, through his meetings, training sessions, and public speaking, helps business owners and logistics professionals safeguard the sustainability of their companies — no matter what happens.

He is a member of the Hellenic Logistics Company (EEL) and serves as Insurance and Risk Management Advisor to the Hellenic Association of Refrigerated Industries (EBΨ) and the Panhellenic Association of Freight Forwarding Enterprises (PEED), while he has also provided advisory support to OFAE and PSXEM.

Giannis has written extensively on insurance and insurable risks in logistics enterprises and is a regular speaker at logistics conferences. Throughout his career, he has met and collaborated with many outstanding people and professionals across the industry.

Giannis continuously adapts and evolves in his field and describes himself as a «lifelong learner».
